ABOUT ME
I am an
experienced, qualified and accredited Counsellor with a
Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling, gained
after three years of in-depth training at the
Psychosynthesis and Education Trust. I also hold a
Certificate in Integrative Couple Counselling from the
London Re-Vision Centre for Integrative Psychosynthesis.
My professional
background is in mainstream and adult education, both as a
teacher and a lecturer. I have always enjoyed getting to know
people from all walks of life, and training as a counsellor
became a natural next step. I came to London from France as
a young adult and I have particular experience in working
with issues relating to cultural difference and its impact
on self–identity, intimate relationships and parenthood.
In addition to
my private practice I have also worked for several years as
a voluntary Bereavement Counsellor, with a focus on loss and
change.
As an accredited
member of the British Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy (BACP), I work within their ethical framework
and professional code of practice, and I am engaged in
regular clinical supervision.
